From Slackers pov it has been quite a quiet week. We have tried making contact with Evilution, but it seems they are a bit absent atm. And I am not sure when they will/can be ready for our Group game in Smackdown.
I can not help feeling a bit dissapointed in the way Smackdown is being run this season. It feels as if the season is only being held alive because it ‘has to’. There are no interesting news – infact there has not been ANY news report since 19th. of march. That is soon over a month ago :(
How about some overview on how the groups are standing – wich clans have suprised this season – when deadline is for playoffs – any positive/negative response on the season so far from the admins pov? Just some lifesign would be nice.

At least some positive things are happening. NQR is still on full throttle. I suggest you go visit their very fine homepage and check the news there for yourself – after you have finnished reading this lenghty news post of course!


On to some more general topics.

I have been a busy bee last night !

Worked practicly all night on configuring our eggdrop after a tragic HD crash at slackers.nu host. ALL data were lost.
Our bouncer is now back online, wich I am sure will put a smile on a handfull of peoples faces :)

Further more I got our beloved bot ^Slacker^ back – and I would like to take the oppertunity here to explain a bit about the features.
These features I have installed mainly for public service. Granted that it will not be abused of course.

But there was a new clan rising and shining named Leftovers, they reqruited ParadokS and he offerd to switch to Slackers, because all of the facilities they have and the reputation. So here we are a completely new Slackers team ready for NQR9 and EQL3

We played a pretty good season, by only losing 2 maps and that 2 maps were played the very first match vs Clan Malfunction. After that we pracced like maniacs and won all games 2-0. After ending in first place we went through to the playoffs. FOM, LA, SR, and 1 more clan they were all fighting for the last spot. Unfortunalty summerbreak came up and most players went idle. So CMF went to playoffs with not enough ppl to fill in a team with good pings. la beats fom with a thriller 3-2 game. Too bad Angua had some fuckedup lag before 23cet so we couldn’t play the game. Walkover it was because they felt they didn’t belong in the playoffs anyway. So there we were in the finals vs our bigest rivals Lege Artis. We were ready for them from the start, after beating them quite easily in nqr9 with 3-1 we had the biggest confidence to beat them again. Unfortunatly LA seemed to be too scared to face our new SR squad. They didn’t show up on the first, second and third scheduded game. So we where quite furious about it and wanted to play another clan (fom), admins didn’t let us so we got Walk Over once again. SR won eql3 and is already looking forward to next season. gg’s
